Bringing together volunteers and communities in need
Rebuilding Together is the nation’s largest volunteer home repair organization, with just under 200 affiliates. The Greater Dallas area has received the support of Rebuilding Together since the 2002 inception of the local affiliate.
Who we serve
Rebuilding Dallas serves low income homeowners who are: over the age of 65, people living with disabilities, families with children under 18 or Veterans and their spouses.
How we help
RTGD serves low income homeowners with the help of more than 2,000 volunteers every year. Volunteer groups come from businesses, schools, churches, associations and more. Our work is made possible by corporate sponsors, individual donors, and in-kind contributors who provide financial support for our programs.
What began more than 40 years ago in Midland, Texas as Christmas in April, Rebuilding Together addressed the minor home repair needs of single women. It has since grown to facilitate major and minor home repairs to thousands of low-income homeowners year-round.
Rebuilding Together is a non-profit organization that has worked for over 40 years to provide repairs and handicap accessibility to homes owned by low-income, elderly, disabled, and families with small children.
